California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a California privacy law that came into effect on January 1, 2020.

The sections outlined in this CCPA policy are complementary to the Sweet Glim (“we,” “us,” “our”) Privacy Policy. This policy is specific to users, visitors, and customers (buyers) who are residents of the State of California (“consumer,” “consumers,” “you”).

Under CCPA, California consumers are granted additional rights to safeguard their personal information from unauthorized use. This policy ensures compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) of 2018, effective since January 1, 2020.

Right to Request Disclosure

You have the right to demand information about the categories and personal information we collect, the methods of collection, and the purpose of collection.

In compliance, we disclose the categories of information we generally collect from and about consumers.

You can request this information at no cost twice within a 12-month period.

General Information We Collect

We typically gather personal information (as listed under CCPA) such as First Name, Email Address, IP Address, Demographics, Language, and Location.

Collection methods include email sign-up forms, comments, and Google Analytics.

To request the personal information we’ve collected about you, contact us.

Right to Request Deletion

Under CCPA, you can request the deletion of personal information collected by us. However, certain circumstances exempt us from deletion, including:

Completion of a transaction for which the information was collected (e.g., selling and delivering goods and services). Compliance with legal obligations. Meeting other legal requirements. Maintaining information for internal use in a reasonable manner. Right to Request Disclosure in Case of Sale

You can request full disclosure if we sell or transfer your personal information for business purposes. We don’t currently sell consumer information. In the event we do within the next 12 months, you can opt out.

Right to Opt Out of Sale

To ensure compliance, we’ve added a “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link. Opting out will prevent your information from being sold.

Non-Discrimination

Choosing to exercise your opt-out right will not result in discrimination. You’ll retain access to services at the same quality and price as other consumers.

Security Measures

We maintain reasonable security procedures and practices to protect collected data. Our security practices include:

Password protection for systems containing consumer information. Strong, frequently changed passwords. Limited access to passwords. Additional computer password layers. Daily precautions against unauthorized use, modification, destruction, and disclosure. Contact Us

To exercise CCPA rights, request disclosure or deletion of your information, or voice concerns about data handling, contact us.
